This is the second time this has been reported, and I was not able to solve it for the previous user either.

Do you have any .htaccess files? If so, please try temporarily disabling them by renaming them to something else.
 
No, that does not work.

But there has to be a way that I can change the link and remove &perpage=20.
 
Not without file edits.

Can you try disabling all other modifications and check it then, and if it works, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit?
 
I figured it out when you mentioned htaccess. I had disabled re-writes of members in VBseo. When enabling it -- now it works.
 
Maybe the vbseo .htaccess has a rewrite rule for member profiles that still runs even if its rewrite is disabled? I don't know, we have member rewrites enabled here.

Glad you worked it out though, I'll keep this in mind for the future, thanks :D
