I tried to mention user offroad69me by doing an @offroad69me

User tagging broke the username down to offroad and ignored 69me. The reference then went to our user who goes by "offroad" by itself.

MANY users on my forum use numbers in their name.

A related question - I assume that a username with a break in it such as "user name" would not be properly parsed by this plugin? Or is that a case where using the semi-colon would be necessary??

If that's the case I guess I should enabled it from the start.

The mod will attempt to mention the person with the longest name first, but if that fails for whatever reason, it will revert to the first detected instance of a shorter name.

So for instance, if someone was called "offroad69me" but typo'd it by mentioning "offroad69em" it would chop one character off the username until it got a match ("offroad69e", "offroad69", "offroad6", etc). In your case, it would trigger on the user called just "offroad".

The mod works fine with usernames with spaces :) Usernames with special characters that fall outside of the ISO-8859-1 standard may not be mentioned correctly due to encoding issues with AJAX requests.
