Question How to Make vBActivity and vBCredits Play Together

Hi! I'm trying to make vBActivity and vBCredits work together.

vBActivity allows for achievements and awards to be given. vBCredits allows for fine-tuning of how points are assigned - for example you can assign different points for posting threads for each subforum. This seems like a really good combination that I'd love to be able to take advantage of.

And then I saw this:

I'm confused by this. Both plugins have points settings where we could specify how many points to assign for different actions. So say if I use vBActivity to assign 5 points for creating a thread, but in vBCredits assign 10 points for creating a thread, then how many points would I actually get for a new thread?

And can I use vBCredits to control how many points to assign for actions, but vBActivity to assign achievements based on the total points racked up using vBCredits?

If you want vBCredits to use vBActivity's currency, you can set the points field to dbtech_vbactivity_points

This does not affect levels, achievements, or the leaderboard rankings within vBActivity.

If I use vBCredits to assign points, and say I set up an achievement in vBActivity that says "If Points >= 100, assign Achievement X", then this achievement would still be assigned when points reaches 100, correct?

Or will nothing happen UNLESS the points were collected via vBActivity?

Actually, I've just inspected the code, and it seems like that achievement would work even if the points were collected by vBCredits and not vBActivity.

Another problem I'm experiencing, is that the vBActivity link isn't appearing in forum menus (e.g. the Links menu) in spite of the fact that I've specified in plugin options for the links to appear in all 3 menus. I've been troubleshooting with 3 devs over the last day but couldn't find the reason. We have cleared the cache and checked error messages. Do you have any other suggestions as to what could possibly be wrong? (Other plugins we bought and installed, don't seem to be showing up either...)

Have you tried disabling all other modifications?
