Question How Do I Send A PM?

How do I send PMs? I've tried clicking on the usernames on the sb and it just links me to their profile page. I've enabled PMs for all the usergroups including my own. Am I doing something wrong?

Well I figured it out. Is there any way to modify it when I click on a user it'll open up a pm chat like in the old inferno shoutbox?

Or can I get that dropdown menu that you guys have on your shoutbox that lets us select who want to message?

You can enable the dropdown menu by turning on the Context Menu settings in Instance Management. Keep in mind that there is both a global and a per-usergroup setting - you need to change both.

Keep in mind that this will increase the amount of data sent by vBShout per request (i.e. when new shouts are loaded) by a significant amount as it needs to transmit the HTML for the menu for each shout.
