Question how do i remove and reinstall vbshout box

We have updated the forum to 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 then when we tried to update the shout box with latest version of dbtech shout box we are not able to update and as we have replaced the files xml file not loading up .. and when we tried to enable the shoutbox then the entireforum is giving server misconfiguration error so i need a solution for this problem.

what i want to do is remove all the files from root and db then reinstall it fresh -- for this what are the sql tables i need to drop -- is their any alternative solution available for this problem.

version of vb:4.1.6

Adding

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

to config.php will disable all plugins and circumvent all plugin-based errors.

yes i have done that
then after i disabled the plugin of vbshout -for now the forum is working

but i want to use the mod so i want to reinstall it
how can i do that. as the traces of the previous version still exists
