Is there documentation available? I'm not sure how to do the configuration, and how the user is able to select their newsletter frequency.

There’s no documentation at the moment, sorry. All configuration can be done in the AdminCP under the DBTech - Newsletter header. For users, there are new options added in the UserCP.
