Bug class_install.php appears to be missing!

Trying to install pro version 3.2.8 and getting the following error on XML upload:

htdocs/dbtech/thanks/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

I checked and that file is there.

Also checked and this is in the install_class.php file:

		//$version = intval($version);

Also changed CHMOD on both class_install.php and includes directory and error persists.

This is most often caused by accidentally uploading the upload folder itself rather than the contents of the upload folder.

I uploaded the contents, not the folder. The directory listing in ftp shows htdocs/dbtech/thanks/includes/class_install.php which is the path that the error shows.

Is this a Windows or Linux server?

Okay I figured it out... was a permissions issue. Thanks.

You may wish to update your FTP server configuration so that it creates files & directories with the correct Read permissions
