Legacy AdSense Tags and Remove White-Spaces

vBSEO has a Feature for the Adsense Start and End Tags of the Relevant Content.

And also vBSEO has a Feature to remove White-Spaces into the HTML Output.

Please add these functions.

Neither of these functions are related to SEO in any way.

Whitespace removal is no longer important, as search engine bots have no problems with ignoring whitespace when crawling a site. There is no longer a need for your site content to be among the first X bytes of content. On the contrary, it is important that your site loads faster. This feature will be a direct detriment to SEO, rather than an improvement, as a result.

Improving AdSense relevancy is functionality best left to either template edits, or a mod that is designed to improve your AdSense revenue.


When we designed DBSEO, we made a promise to our customers that we would never blindly replicate features from vBSEO. Almost all of the feedback we received when we first announced DBSEO was "please do not make it bloated like vBSEO". We are committed to only adding features that we are convinced will actually provide a noticeable benefit to search engine optimisation, our goal is not to make a "all in one" type mod.

For these reasons, I'll change the status of these requests to Declined.
