This problem started about 24-30 hours ago; when anyone including administrators enters a shout, if there are spaces or punctuation in the message, nothing is displayed.
If a user enters their text without spaces, i.e. "Thisisatestshout" then it works.
I've not made any changes to the templates or code. I have pruned the shoutbox thinking that might clear this up - but it has not.
I know I should upgrade but I don't understand why it would stop working suddenly, when the shoutbox has been working well for over a year.
Any ideas?
