Bug Users can't register after installing this

I installed profile hover and it works, but when a few people try registering they get this error, as do I:

ACP --> User Profile Fields --> User Profile Field Manager, find Disable Profile Hover and click on edit.

What is set for the last block, Display Page?

First off delete the bottom 3 that say Disable Profile Hover field7, field8, field9

Ok now click on edit for the remaining one, and in the last block, Display Page, change that from Options: Other to Options: Date / Time

Let me know when you did that.

Hmmm, I don't think it is going to work, as I am not still seeing the option on registration. Edit that again and in the option, Field Required change that to No.

I think I fixed it, I set the option "private field" to "no"

Ok good, at least users can register again. This is not a final fix, the issue still lies in the option not showing up on the registration page, which could be a conflict with another mod. Dylan may need to look into it more.

That's weird, it's a normal custom profile field. If you change the display page to Edit Profile, do you see it there and is it editable?
I wonder if it's something with the 4.2.2 alpha, I can't replicate the problem on 4.2.1

I restored to 4.2.1, for some reason it thinks it is still on 4.2.2. my local install of 4.2.1 does it as well on my wamp server. And no, it doesnt show up at all under edit profile.
