Question Temporarily stopping newsletter?

Is there a way to temporarily disable the newsletter from going out, or do I need to uninstall it?

I opted everyone out of the newsletter running this query in my user table:

UPDATE `user` SET `dbtech_newsletter_receive` = 0

Now they have to Opt In for receiving the newsletter instead.

You could also disable it in the product manager if you ever wanted to stop sending it even to opted in users
