Pending member require approval alert

The alerts for members wanting to join a group stack up quick for new groups. It would be nice if, when I follow one of those and end up approving the 3-4 waiting, all of those alerts are marked as read. So when I go back to alerts I don't see XYZ needs approval when they have already been approved.
