How many of you here are Christian?

I am and I have recently come to think we are living in the end times. I truly believe this. It seems more and more biblical prophecies are coming true each day. First we have the falling away from faith. we have good men seen as bad (Guy arrested in Florida for feeding the poor). We have Children not respecting their parents, We have faiths peaches world wide thanks to the internet (and that prophecy was mentioned 2000 years before the internet existed, explain that one).

Now I see we have Hilary Clinton wanting Americans to deny their faith in Christianity. Well I am not going to do that as that is prophecy as well. I am going to Deny Hilary but not GOD. Jesus is my lord and savour and I will not deny him.

I know that not all of you believe in GOD as I do but I encourage you to do so and only because I want to save you from the wraith to come.

He's not really spamming "crap", he just answered the thread.

Anyway back to topic. I don't really believe in God or anything around that.
BUT! I do believe that there is something else. Then again, its too complicated.
I always overthink things too much.

For example: If you believe in God, then he is "our" father. But how did God came to existence?
Another example is that I believe we all take another form when we die to live or exist in another dimension, next to us.
Nothing of it is proven though so we'll never really know what is out there until we die.
And yes, I could go on by finding other examples as I keep evaluating a lot of things I see, interpreted and learn.

I do not intend to open a whole discussion to protect my own belief or something like that.
In a matter of fact, I respect people their beliefs as how they can live up to it. But then again, I overthink things again.. :RpS_rolleyes:

So, there you have my response :).

Hi Xar,

God did not come into existence, He is the uncaused first cause.

I am Christian. By all means accept this as an invitation to further discussion on faith based topics and theology. I have a forum, but of course, using Vbulletin dedicated for this reason: Catholic Evangelical Reformed - ChristForums

God bless,
Shim

That is from Christians their perspective of course.
Also, I'm sorry but I have to decline your invitation. Thanks for it though.

Anyway, I gave my answer in the previous thread and will not respond to this anymore to prevent further uprising replies.

Cheers.

I can't shake the feeling that this entire thread was probably started by a spammer. Typical
John Ch 3 V 18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

You need to be saved like many in this world do Jesus is coming soon and I don't mean 100's of years from now either I mean in your life time.

John ch 4 v 24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John Ch 3 V 16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John Ch 3 V 17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

All this has nothing to do with this forum matters.

sent with my phone
Its in off topic forum I am sure you have an off topic on your site as well
Where did pop222 say it was 'off topic'? The statement stands for itself in that this is nothing to do with forum matters. Contentious matters such as religion hold no part in any section of any forum other than a forum set up for religious discussion imo. Having said that i'm now weighing into this because i can see 'passive-aggressive' bullying in the form of religious bigotry and zealotry rearing it's obstinate head. I'll say now that i'm an agnostic, i don't know if there is a God or not. Frankly neither does a believer know for sure there is, nor does an atheist know for sure there isn't. That's their choice, to believe or not to believe. To either have 'faith' or not. If other than by telling me to 'have faith', someone can prove God's existence, or someone can irrefutably prove the opposite, then i continue to be agnostic where i choose not to choose.

Dont spam with crap
That's simply intolerant.

God has always been here he did not come into existence as he has always been here
And that's just simply self-fulfilling clap-trap. Unless you prove it.

PS: Even tho' this is an old thread and I've only ever browsed this forum before, i joined today simply to make the point that we need to be tolerant and if we wish to refute someone's opinion it should be done with evidence not simply by stating a contra-opinion. This is the most provocative topic imaginable, i agree with pop222 in that it shouldn't really be encouraged at all and i've only posted in an attempt to balance the discussion.

Remember, it is not God who sends people to hell you do that to yourself by not accepting salvation that has been given freely if you don't want to accept it, then you won't get into heaven, but will go to hell there is only the two places to go its up to you God will never force you he gives you free will to make up your own mind

Oh dear! At the risk of repeating myself:

Proof? You don't have it, anymore than i do. All you have is a blind faith and willingness to believe regardless of ANY evidence. All i have is a thirst for that evidence, one way or the other. Please don't just preach as if it's proof in itself.

My faith is not blind it is and always will be strong and nothing you or anyone can say or do will ever break that
