(Oh boy Fillip H. you are going to be sick of me if you are not already :))

I have an action set up to post an introduction thread when someone new registers.

I get this error when completing the registration =>reg error.webp

The new member registers fine but no thread is created.

I also noticed that the settings are not saving in the action management.

Does having the "verify email before" turned off disable the vb email verification function altogether? I noticed that the test user I registered while finding these errors was moved directly to "registered users".

Thankfully a Pro-only feature since I just uploaded lite xD

Re-upload the class_register.php file :)

I don't believe it automatically disables that, no.

Now I get this error.
Code:
Fatal error: Call to a member function query_first() on a non-object in ..../dbtech/registration_pro/includes/actions/new_thread.php on line 20

Ok so that fixed the errors. Thank you.

Here are the other issues; :)
- Settings are not saving in the actions manager. I am trying to have the thread open.
- A new thread is not being created upon registration. Could be my settings? See pics below.
- Verification email is not being sent and the new member is being moved to "Registered Users".
- Registration form is not asking for DOB to start and I have COPPA active.

For the new thread's action,

Can you verify that the instance the user is regstering through has this action assigned to it and is active on the instance level. You can check this under manage instances.

I'll be looking into these over the next couple of days - these are much bigger issues and will take longer time to resolve.

But for the verification email, I think the verification email system in AdvReg is meant to replace the stock feature.

Is my IP blocked by your FTP server?

2.222.31.135

I get connection refused errors, wonder if it's cause I accidentally left it open in my FTP program... :RpS_mellow:

[15:02:52] Resolving host name "ftp.canadianriflesregiment.com"
[15:02:53] Connecting to 199.91.124.6 Port: 21
[15:03:14] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

For the sake of posterity: We're talking in PM, I'll post back here once connection issues are resolved and the issues have been fixed :)

I'm unable to reproduce this on your site. I tried un-ticking the "Open Thread" box, it saved just fine. I then re-ticked it, it saved fine as well.

Am I looking at the wrong part?

I also cannot replicate this issue - from what I can tell, the mod is enabled and yet step 1 of 2 for me is to enter my DoB.

As before, if there's something disabled I'm missing please do let me know :)

Not working for me. I am trying to unstick the thread and open it but after I click save and then edit again it is still ticked as stick and not open.

I can no longer connect to your site, I'm receiving Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

Inversely, FTP is still working fine.

Hai mengs, y i banz? :(

EDIT: Nevermind, it's fine now. Musta been a temporary thing.

Update: Okay, now saving actions are not working for me either. I swear it was working before... Is your server trolling me? :p
