Legacy Awards issued based on Usergroup or Date Logged on

Would love to see a feature added whereby Awards can be issued based on:

• What usergroup users are a part of - For example I have a Staff Badge award, and would love for it to automatically be issued if user is part of Administrators, Moderators or Super Moderators usergroup for example.
• Or if user logs on date DD-MM-YY they get an Award - Say for example they login on Valentines Day, they can get a Valentines Day award.

That is legit the only thing holding me back from using the Awards part of this plugin. I use this plugin for everything else but Awards. Currently using YAAS for awards whereby I have to manually award it.

Hi there,

Currently, the awards system is designed to be manually awarded with certain exceptions (contests can have awards as prizes). We want to be careful to avoid overlap with the Achievements system, as duplicated features would be confusing to users.

However, I can see the appeal in being able to create one-time awards, e.g. a Vday award that is only awarded in 2016, with a different badge being awarded in 2017, etc.

I'll flag this as Under Consideration
