Bug 'AdminCP Access Attempts' watcher won't trigger IP ban

Hi,
I'm doing some testing on a staging version of the website associated with this ticket, we're experiencing an issue in that we can't trigger an IP ban when making unauthorised attempts to access the admin control panel. I've tried this from multiple machines, IP addresses & various test accounts that don't have any admin privileges.

I've attached our current security watch settings for reference, any advice or guidance on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

As far as I can remember, that watcher handles people attempting to log in with legitimate admin accounts but getting the password wrong.

Have you tested that particular permutation as well?
