Hmmm, actually I think you may have to add a custom script in additional.css, Ozzy, would it be possibly to add something in the next release the color for the Marquee

In the next release I will change it so the background color of the buttons will be controlled by the stylevar, control_background (normal state) and control_hover_background (hover state) and control_color (font color) I forgot to add a class to those buttons.

For the meter on the block, if you could pm me a admin account and ftp info, I actually had a meter working on IcEWoLF's test site, but on his live site it would not work, so I would like to do some testing on yours to see if it server or configuration related.

That is actually the goal meter trying to work, I disabled it from displaying for now till I can get it to work. :)

I just don't understand why it works on a test site but not a live site.

Could it be a jQuery conflict script? I don't think that's jQuery based right? Besides the navigation at the bottom.

No it's not jQuery, even if it was, it is not picking up the phrases that should be there.

Well I need to kick myself in the head, I forgot to tell you (actually forgot myself) that in the Donation Bar Settings, Show Donation Bar On in needs to have adv_index as a THIS_SCRIPT otherwise it won't work right.

I spent the past few days trying out different things and it was as simple as that.

IcEWoLF I got it showing on your live site now, vetsfast you need to what I described above.

This is the right step to hopefully make the donors list appear on the front page eh? :P

I think that is going to be something completely different, but I will look into it for a future update.

Hi,

I tried this method but cannot get it to work. It shows up near the navbar in the middle and not inside the module.

If you admin my account on your site, ozzy47 and assuming ftp information you gave me is still the same, I can implement the fix I did for IcEWoLF's site on your site.

I am going to have to do some more debugging on your site in the morning, for some reason, it is not working as intended on your site like it is on other sites. :(

Well I have it showing correctly now, I had to change my process_templates_complete hook from a execution order of 5 to 7, seems there is another mod interfering with it, I will try to see which one in the morning.

cool stuff, if i upgrade to the next version (whenever that is) will it be overwritten? As in will i lose the meter for VBA?

Also how would i go around to alter the colors for the meter?

THanks for the help

I think he probably had AWCoding probably installed still, I think that's the reason why it's affecting this.

I doubt it will overwrite those settings in the next version, the next version will have the fixes to address the above issues.

To edit the colors you will have to edit stylevars in admincp:

colors.webp

As IcEWoLF said, dbtech_vbdonate_finish_color_block, dbtech_vbdonate_goal_meter_border_block, dbtech_vbdonate_goal_meter_border_block under the group, DragonByteTechMods are the three stylevars to change there.

I dunno about upgrading yet, I am still doing research on your site to see what mod is causing the issue, and see if I can provide a proper fix in the next download.
