Hybrid mode works perfectly in vBulletin 3.8.8 now.
However I noticed a new error in the error_log
[02-Oct-2014 15:37:51 America/Chicago] PHP Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/web/public_html/forum/dbtech/dbseo/hooks/threadmanage_complete.php...
I thought I'd try to reproduce this on vBulletin 3.8.8 but wasn't able to, however I did notice another perhaps similar issue.
I am using the latest dbSEO 1.2.7

In the latest update there appears to be a problem with the Link Title feature.
I have "Link Titles" set to "Overwrite Title" and I have "Link Titles: External URLs" Off.
The problem is that this turns off Link Titles for Internal forum URLs.
This did work in previous versions however lately...

Thank you for your amazing fast and prompt fix however I am seeing a slight problem.
I re-downloaded 1.0.0b8 and replaced all of the files on the server (and cleared all caches, etc)
There seems to be a slight problem with all forum urls showing as

In VBSEO I could map a forum id to a custom forum title this gave me the ability to name a forum as "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)" and then map it to "faq"
So I could have the url as
http://www.flashfxp.com/forum/faq/
instead of
http://www.flashfxp.com/forum/frequently-asked-questions-faq/...
