I haven't installed the lite version yet, but typically go pro anyway. But I have a current problem with my host company (shared server) in that they have established a maximum number of 500 emails per hour. Can I set up my newsletters and emails so that I can throttle how they are sent to the send mail server and be under the 500 limit? The problem is when I send my newsletter now, they all go to the sendmail queue and after the 500th one, they get returned to me as un-sendable.

It does throttle them, but not in that fashion I think.

It uses vBulletin's internal Mail Queue system, which I believe sends x number of emails per page load. I don't know if you can configure the Mail Queue system to work differently - in either case that'd be a vBulletin thing, not a vBMail thing :)

I don't think "x number of emails per page load" will work...I can't hit next page once per hour for 6 hours. I was really hoping this would be the solution I needed. :(

It's sadly not feasible for us to create a whole separate mail queue system at this time :(

You should really think about upgrading to a VPS or get a better shared package that doesn't come with such strict limitations, if you want to start a mailing list :)
