Hi,

I have a little suggestion...
I think there should be 1 forum with all the links to all the available manuals/user guides...

My reasons for this suggestion?:
  • No need to post a topic twice with the link to the documentation of the mod (currently once in lite & once in pro forum)
  • I think (but it's my opinion) an easy way to find the needed manual (and an easy way to see if all manual-links are posted)

But that's just my opinion.

In follow screenshot I have 3 kind of "solution" for my suggestion:
documentation-example.jpg
1 = underneath each mod you put a link to its documentation...
2 = 1 category where you put all the links. a link to each documentation... (what I think would be the best solution, that way you have an easy overview to see if you have forgotten any link to any documentation...)
3 = link in the mod-forum (also a good solution if you don't want to make your index forum to big...)

But again,
that's just my opinion...

Friendly greetings,
Valcav

Not 100% sure on the solution, but I'm in agreement that something better could be done.

I'm not saying that it has to be 1 of my 3 suggested solutions :) ,
I was only thinking to provide some solutions that could be used, and include them in an image already to see it a "little" bit in action...
:) ;)

Maybe a sticky thread presales questions?
Maybe,
but I posted it as an "Website / Company Feedback & Suggestions" because it has to do with the Website...
And to add a little Feedback to it:
I remember that in one of my posts I "reported" a little error in one of the manuals (that I read off-line, the one included in the download), I re-read that topic, and someone said he corrected that and uploaded it, so I looked in the forum to find a link to the manual of that mod (Postbit tabs) but there wasn't one like there is in the vBMail forum.
I wasn't sure if I may have posted in the "Postbit tabs" forum with the link to that manual (because in the vBMail forum, it was Fillip H. that posted such a message, and didn't/don't want to offend him that he forgot to post one).
And instead of opening any kind of thread about it in Postbit tabs forum, I thought that maybe there could be a better solution for it.
Like grouping all manuals together in 1 forum or something... What it also would make it easy to find the links, and would also make it easy (for the admins) to see if each mod that has a manual online, that it's available for everyone... (if you know what I mean...)
