Don't take this the wrong way, it is just a suggestion. But when a visitor comes to the website and clicks "Forum", I think they're hoping to see the forum straight off, and not need to scroll down 4 or 5 page folds to get to the forum categories. Can you not make separate pages for all the stuff that clutters the top of the forum? Or move the clutter to the bottom of the forum?

Just a suggestion.

Generally people find the features there useful. We can't please everyone, but a useful feature that demonstrates our products that most people seem fine with tends to tick enough boxes to stay.

There's a whole page here that would be better suited to a sidebar, or at the bottom of the forum, or at least collapsed by default, surely?

I find the odd poll to ask members rather than assuming tends to work on my forums.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. The forums should just be forums - the main page can have all the extra stuff. There is way, way too much clutter at the top before you can even view a thread. There must be a hundred different things you could click on up there. There are like 5 different toolbars. It's crazy disorganized.

As Cosmic mentioned previously, this site also serves as a showcase for our mods. We limit the amount of mods that we have enabled to our most popular ones, and for that reason their inclusion on the site is warranted :)

We used to have a "demo site" where people could try our mods, but due to security concerns we had to take it down.

I agree with the op to much info before you get to the forum sections moving it to the bottom or collapsed by default would help as i find it puts more load on the site and it does take a while to load for me at times

for what its worth, I find pretty much the entire site cluttered. There is stuff everywhere and that makes it harder to find what im looking for. Its very unprofessional looking in my opinion.

We're planning a revamp, though I don't think too many people would be happy with weeks of no updates as a result of working on this, so progress is going to be rather slow for the time being.

I'm hoping to have mockup screenshots to share in the Dev Blogs over the coming weeks :)

I'll add my 2 cents here if I may... The site loads a little slowly, I think just due to the sheer size of the pages and amount of stuff on them, or maybe it just seems that way since the pages are really long, the elements are quite spaced out vertically. It would look better to potential customers, IMO, to have a slimmed down, faster loading site. For existing customers this would make navigating the support forums easier as well.
