Is it possible to use 2 currencies for VBshop?
For example:

  1. Items are bought with Credits
  2. Gifts are bought with Points or any other second currency.

then what is the use of multiple currencies in the applications ?
(just a question - not trying to be offensive - just wanna know if there are otehr uses i dont know)

vBShop has never had anything pertaining to multiple currencies :)

If you're referring to vBCredits, then that was not coded explicitly for vBShop, so its reasoning for having multiple currencies support is entirely different :)

You can create multiple currencies and have them all have differing exchange rates with your "main" currency.

lets say you call your main currency Tokens, and that is what vBShop uses.

Now lets say you have Staff Dollars, User Dollars and VIP Dollars, and all gain points at different rates or for doing different things.

With vBCredits you can make it so 1 token costs 1 staff dollar, 1 token costs 5 user dollars, and 1 token costs 2 VIP dollars.

vBShop only uses tokens, but you can have several currencies used for different things, or different usergroups, or even special occasions, which can then be converted to Tokens at whatever exchange rate you set ^.^

Hope that makes more sense!
