Bug Events processing twice?

I noticed there are still problems with vBCredits, but I don't know why. The post bonus is 5 points. However, when I post I notice it has increased by 10. Having said that, the credits.php page shows the correct (5) amount. So I have no idea why it added an extra 5. I double-checked vBActivity to ensure there are no conflicts and it does award points but not for the events vBCredits awards points for, so they should be unrelated.

I realise a workaround is to halve the award (like 2.5), but I don't think that's such a good fix since it will still erroneously report (even though it's what should be the correct value) incorrectly in credits.php, so it would take the point out of users reading this and confuse them. Have you come across this problem? Any ideas?

I know you looked into a problem with this plugin on the past on my forum, but that was for entries in credits.php appearing twice. Now they correctly appear once but award double the credits. ;) Maybe vBActivity and vBCredits simply don't play nice together, but using them both has been very beneficial. Shame about this problem.

If the transaction log only shows 1 entry, then it's unlikely the issue exists in vBCredits. To test, can you please try disabling vBCredits then perform the same action again, and see if you still get currency?

I've disabled vBCredits and I can confirm it isn't caused by vBCredits. I performed the same action with vBActivity and got the "10" increase, thus proving it isn't a problem with vBActivity. I can go and disable my other products, but honestly I worry about breaking something. Does disabling simply comment out the code? Here's a list of my enabled products. (Some obviously couldn't cause this but I'll paste all anyway.) If you don't notice anything immediately suspicious I'll run the same tests:

It could be caused by vBShop, if you have not disabled the points accumulation. Can you double-check that the vBOption for points accumulation is turned off, and/or that the Points Per Thread / Points Per Post is set to 0?

Sorry for the necromancy, but I've tried your suggestion and the same thing happens: correct value (5) on the credits page but actually currency is increased by 10. This is after disabling accumulation and setting the values you said to 0. (They already were 0 actually.)

Any other ideas?

In that case, I would recommend disabling all other modifications, leaving only vBCredits enabled, then trying it again.
