Bug Cannot edit admin's credits

Hello!

When I try to add credits to members I am able to, even to other administrators. However, I am unable to add credits to my account (user ID 1, set as special user in vb config file).

I mention that I was set as special user before too (I was using an older version of vBcredits back then) and I could still edit my credits number.

I don't get any error, after I click 'Update Transactions', I get the message 'Updated 50 transactions for X.' However, no credits are actually added.

I mention that I also removed the special user privileges in vb config file to test, but the result was the same, unable to add credits.

Vb 4.2.5, Php version 5.6

Have you made sure that an Adjust event has been created, and that you have not imposed any special user group restrictions on this event?

What sort of event? I go to Recalculate User Accounts and try to edit it, but it won't work. I didn't change any other settings when upgrading and in the previous version it worked.

"Activity Amounts Configuration" is the place to go to add new events to the Credits mod :)

In the Activity Amounts Configuration I have just Posts, Vote, Thread, Friend, Referral, etc. Those points are added. It's not an event, for credits to be automatically added when a member does a specific action.

The issue is when I go to Recalculate User Accounts and I try to alter the number of credits for the admin account. For all other members it works.

Have you checked the usergroup permissions to see whether there may be something wrong with the administrators permission there?

As I said, I can add credits to other administrators, and permissions seem ok, so the issue can't be with all admins, just the special user (ID 1) account.

If you log in to another administrator account, are you able to edit ID 1's credits?

I don't think so, although I am not the original developer of that modification so I can't be 100% sure.

In the settings, do you have real-time processing of credits enabled?

Try flipping that switch then try editing again, if that still doesn't work then using the alternate user trick might be needed, sorry :(

No, it still doesn't work, but it's ok, I'll just use another user to give myself credits when needed. Thanks a lot for your help! Happy New Year! :)
