Question Flush cache not working?

I run xcache 1.3.2
It doesn't work. All the other tests pass.

My host is telling me that there is no credentials made.
So I have this setting disabled: vB Optimise: XCache Authentification

Could you please be more specific than "it doesn't work"? Any error messages?

Running Test: Connection to xcache : Passed
Running Test: Store Cache: Your Opcache Operator extension is functioning, however it is unable to store data. Please check your extension configuration.
Running Test: Fetch Cache: Your Opcache Operator extension is functioning, however it is unable to store data. Please check your extension configuration.
Running Test: Flush Cache: Keeps giving the progress loading icon, gave it 20 minutes but stuck at loading.

Xcache auth = off.

According to your PHP Info page, you have XCache authentication enabled. That is most likely the cause of the problem, so you'll need to ask your host to set xcache.admin.enable_auth to Off

Btw for memcached is there a reason Store cache and fetch caching failing?
I compared both and memcache seems to be a bit better.

Memcache and XCache are two different things IIRC.

This is from memory so there may be factual inaccuracies xD

Memcache is purely for storing stuff like the vBulletin datastore and other such variables, whereas XCache will actually cache the files themselves, perform some kind of magic on them to make them run faster.

Memcache is better if you are running a database server on a separate box from your web server, because it's got clustering features that help multiple sites access the same data etc. It's basically a service that runs, rather than something that just speeds up each page request.
