Ozzy maybe you can help me im not sure what happened but I uploaded the filed the same way and now im getting a 404 messages in my admin panel yup my admin panel is gone what can I do about this?

Open your config.php and below<?php add this line:

PHP:
 define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

So it looks like this:
PHP:
<?php
define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
/*=================================================  =====================*\
|| ##################################################  ################## ||
|| # vBulletin 4.1.4

Then make sure all files are loaded to the proper place, and re import the xml, then remove the define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); ftom the config.php

I did that and i still have no admin panel, let me tell you what I did

I seen that post I replied to lol I uploaded the upload folder also so I deleted it when I should of override

now im wondering if I deleted a folder that maybe I shouldn't of

I dunno then, you will have to wait for the dev to answer, as I am out of ideas.

me to im wondering if I can just update to 4.2.1 if that will give me the missing folders that im missing here is a print screen of the message im getting

adminerror.png

You should re-download vBulletin from your members area and re-upload those files. vBActivity does not erase any vB files during installation.

I think I accidentally deleted the vb admincp I uploaded just just the admincp file and its fine now then I finished up on importing the XML file I see the activity just need to learn how it works lol expect to see me here a lot lol I may just get top awards lol maybe you can point me where I can goto learn about how the system works
