I have two questions since I am not positive they can be done.

1) I added some post achievements (I set the criteria to value and = a certain number of posts). I have over 900 posts on the forum and when I recalculated the achievements I still was not given the achievements I should have.

Does the system only award for posts made since the addition of the achievement or should it count for posts made before it was made/the modification installed?

2)

We have a post count limit of what members are expected to hit each month. I was hoping there was a way to use this to help members see how close they are. I noticed a weekly goal you can set for members to hit, but is there any way to set a monthly goal (20 posts in our case per user) so members can see how close they are to getting it? If that is unclear I apologize!

If this can't be done are you aware of any other modifications your company/group has made which may help me with this?

1) The issue is that you set it to = and not >= :)
When you set it to =, it will only award the achievement when the value matches exactly. >= means "larger than or equal", f.ex. when they have at least x amount of posts.

2) There's no way to set a goal of X amount of anything in vBAA, the goal completion in vBAA tallies from every method of gathering points. I know of no modification that does this.
