Question Install VBSHout LITE

We have VB Shout LITE on our default VBulletin theme, but not on the custom theme I just uploaded. I have no idea how to get it on this new theme. The lack of documentation on this plugin is astounding. What is the PHP call for thos plugin? I just need to insert it into my theme. I can't find it on the default theme.

Done that. I have no idea how to get VBshout Lite onto the theme. I did everything in the readme.....and nothing happens.

I go to VBshout.php and it throws me an error

Invalid Instance ID

I have no idea how to use this plugin.

????

vBShout is not designed to be accessed via vbshout.php in the Lite version. The Pro version has a standalone page for the shoutbox, however.

Go to Instance Manager and set it up for automatic deployment below the navbar. It'll show up automatically.

I figured out the other part, but I'm back to square one. I looked at the instance manager, I put it on navbar deployment, and even rebuilt the cache for all my themes. Same problem. The SB displays on the VB Default theme and not on the other theme I have. Is there anything else I can do? Why wont this plugin work on anything but VB-default???

Because the person who coded your skin removed template hook and ad locations that he shouldn't have. Contact your skin dev and have them fix their skin to re-instate the required hooks and other variables
