Bug Newsletter Not Being Sent But Shows In Log

It seems that the newsletter is not being sent. I have not received a newsletter in quite some time and I see my name in the "digest log" several times.
When I use the "test" function it does send successfully.
Is there a way to manually force to send the newsletter to test this?

I would check your SMTP server configuration, or your server to make sure there's no maximum emails per hours blocking this. The code that runs when you click Test is 100% identical to the code used to send the newsletter, it's the exact same block of code.

It is a shared host so I will have to check with the provider but I never had an issue before.
I checked in the email options of the ACP and I see SMTP is set to "no". Does this make a difference for VbMail?

It shouldn't, although I wouldn't know for sure as we've used SMTP to send emails for years here @ DBTech.

So if I have the options in vbulletin to NOT use SMTP the server should not be affecting by this then, correct?
All other emails are sent fine like private message alerts, thread subscriptions, etc.

I just tested on several accounts and emails for private messages and thread subscriptions are being sent fine. So it would seem it could be isolated to the mod.

I'm gonna assume this has now been resolved since I just received a newsletter from your site :)

Ah, yeah, sorry didn't realise. If they are both running the same mod, in the same configuration, on the same server, then there may be a mod conflict somewhere. Can you find which mods are installed on A&A and aren't installed on CRR?

So here are the DBT mods that I am using on A&A but not CRR;
- Classifieds Pro
- Custom Navigation
- Forum Ads Pro
- Gallery Pro
- Mail Pro (CRR is Lite)
- Review Lite (CRR is Pro)
- Seo Pro
- Donate Lite (CRR is Pro)
- VBSlider Lite

Non-DBT Mods on A&A but not CRR
- Post Always
- Raffle Usergroup Limits
- Raffles
- VBulletin Link Directory

Interestingly enough I just received my first digest letter in months. I did make a few changes this morning before I received the newsletter and coincidently the newsletter was sent.
I was also trying to narrow down a strange database error I have been receiving - https://theadminzone.com/threads/help-with-a-database-error.146841/
I made this change yesterday afternoon - Help With A Database Error | The Admin Zone

I made these changes this morning - All known VB 4.2.5 bug fixes (combined.) - vBulletin Community Forum

I forgot how ugly vB5 is, haha. In either case, we should continue to observe and see if any of this could have been the cause and it's now been resolved :)
