Question Name of thread starter in list of threads in newsletter

On one of the forums where I provide tech support, the owner would prefer to have the newsletter list thread title followed by name of last poster in thread rather than name of forum containing the thread.

Is this information even collected when the newsletter is being assembled? If yes, what would be the appropriate variable name to have it printed to the newsletter?
