I have disabled vbActivity on my forum (but didn't uninstall it) and since then vbAnswer gives me an error when users post a new topic:

Fatal error: Class 'VBACTIVITY' not found in forum/dbtech/vbanswers/includes/class_dm_problem.php on line 191

Can you look into this? At this moment I really don't want to totally disable Activity, and I cannot re-enable it, yet...

Are you sure you used the Product Manager to disable it, and you didn't just disable a few individual plugins?

Yes. I have disabled the product. I have retried it few seconds ago - re-enabling for a second and disabling it again. Same result - same error. I am also using vbOptimize.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

Hi Fillip H.,
Couldn't make the ftp access this week and decided to uninstall the vbActivity product. This caused a breakdown on threadview. I nailed it down to DragonByte Tech: Postbit Tabs (Lite) v. 1.1.2. I found out that it still kept information on vbactivity content in tabs, but even removing these blocks didn't fix it. I have disabled postbit tabs as a product and everything works fine. One thing I didn't try is to remove the postbit tabs content and then clearing vboptimize cache. All in all you should look into integration issues - disabling vbactivity product seems not to change relations in other DB products. I don't know what's hooked to class_dm_problem, but postbit tabs error manifested with the same kind of error in postbit_complete hook.

As for vbactivity I've had to remove it because of a noticable impact on performance.

I'll definitely test this again, it's strange that vBAnswers would throw this error as there's explicit protection against this issue in the code that produced the error. I'll let you know when I have more information or if I need on-site access.

Thank you :)

I'm unable to replicate this issue.

You would need to simply disable the View in the PBTabs AdminCP menu, that will solve it unless you have a serious caching issue on your forum :)
