I am trying to follow users and keep getting this error for both thread an post content type.
Sorry, you may not follow for this content type.

I have checked all the permission for every usergroup and the settings within the mod itself and all seems to be fine.

Sorry about that, not entirely sure who's responsible for this mod now but I'm looking into this issue right now.

Update: For some reason, the advanced usergroup permissions were hidden from the ACP menu. I have unhidden the settings page link, updated the UG perms and tested that it's now working as intended.

Sorry about the delay, I'm going to spend the weekend making sure that all other missed threads have been dealt with, and try to take steps to avoid this happening in the future :(

Doubtful, not unless you knew how our file structure was set up. Basically the way it works is, the main file that goes in the /admincp directory is a loader for other files that are commonly found in /dbtech/<productname>/actions/admin

So f.ex. /admincp/follow.php?do=contenttype loads /dbtech/follow/actions/admin/contenttype.php, etc.

In the /includes/xml/cpnav_dbtech_follow.xml file, the link to the Manage Content Types was commented out, thus it didn't show in the menu.
