Hi,

Had a similar problem with uploading SEO with you guys kindly sorted for me - forums/dbtech/forumtabs/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

Ive double checked and all the files are in the correct places. The above happens when I try and upload the product.

Please advise.

Thanks.

I assume you have your forums in the subfolder /forums/ ?

I've just downloaded myself and I can see the class_install.php file... have you checked the zip file you downloaded to make sure it exists there? If it does, then you're uploading it to the wrong location (most likely reason if it's in your zip file).

If you are running the forums in your default folder, then you need to upload the contents of the upload folder in the zip file to the root.

So you should have something like this in your file directory:
(When forum.php is in the root folder something like www.mysite.com/forum.php):
/admincp/
/dbtech/
/includes/
forumtabs.php
forum.php

(When forum.php is in a subfolder something like www.mysite.com/forums/forum.php):
/forums/admincp/
/forums/dbtech/
/forums/includes/
/forums/forumtabs.php
/forums/forum.php

Hope that helps. :)

Hi Mokonzi,

Thanks for your reply.

My forums are as follows -

/public_html/forums

I have placed the forumtabs in the following - /public_html/forums/dbtech. It sits alongside dbseo and debseo_pro which you guys kindly installed for me. I have placed the other files in

/public_html/forums/admincp
/public_html/forums/includes as instructed from the download.

I have uploaded a lot of products before without issues but am having the same issue with both products so guess I'm doing something not quite right.

Hope that is clear.

Thx

Ok, that sounds correct. Have you double checked that you have the class_install.php file in the /public_html/forums/dbtech/forumtabs/includes/ folder?

If yes, I might need to take a look at your install with perhaps a FTP and Admin account?

I've took a look and I can't find any of the files uploaded to the directory (not sure what's happening there... :D)

So I've uploaded and run the Lite install. I've set the product to disabled in the AdminCP, so you'll need to reenable it to activate it as well as run through the setup of your tabs and settings.

Hope that helps. :)

PS, your I got an awesome upload speed to your server... :)
