Bug Catagories Not Displaying

The categories are not showing on the home page of the gallery. See Below



But this picture has a catagory



Once I click on that Category link I see one gallery in the gallery box



Now, I realize it's probably not a bug, it's probably me breaking stuff again.

What did I break?

did you verify that the Can View Category for the categories in the category management acp area are set correctly?
that's the first place I'd look

I have now. Yeah, all the groups are there. Don't know how to take any out. lol

If you have the groups selected and still can't see them, can you give me temp admin so I can take a look?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new AdminCP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues. It should ideally be a temporary account created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

And I spent all that time trying to figure it out. Grrrr duh

If you hadn't of put that there first, I would have just set it up. But that made me look one more time. I saw them listed there under Can See so I thought it was done. Oka, okay, I'm dense. I tried clicking on two of them this time to see what happened and the background changed.

What about the descriptions? You are aware they don't show? Should I put that under a suggestion? A picture without a description is boring to me. They don't show for me in groups either but I just assumed that was the way vB does it. You may be the only php geek I've run into that cares about pictures. LOL Really kind of surprising since its tecky too.

I wish I was a php and css geek too.

The image descriptions should be showing. It would be in text underneath the prev/next preview images.
