At first when clicking on the contribution button it was just sending back to the same page with a /# after the URL. After doing a cache repair it is now sending me to a blank page at forums/vbdonate/contribute. Surely this is not correct? Isn't it supposed to take me to PayPal? Or otherwise is there some way I'm supposed to setup this blank page with other features from this mod?

Thanks!

How long ago did you install the mod? There's been some fixes as of late that may help resolve this for you.

Also, try running this query:
Code:
UPDATE `pagetemplate` SET `screenlayoutid` = '1' WHERE `screenlayoutid` = 0

I installed it about 24 hours ago from the vBulletin.org website. Is there somewhere else I should be downloading it from?
Also and as for the SQL, I executed it in phpmyadmin and it says the table does not exist ( yes scrolled through and its not there ).

Thanks for replies.

This site :) For your convenience, here's the direct link: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/demo/214-vbdonate-vb5/

You have to add your table prefix to the `pagetemplate` bit. If your table prefix is vb_ you should change it to `vb_pagetemplate`.

Okay, I've downloaded the version that you sent me to, and run that line of SQL ( sorry for being so stupid and not putting in the prefix ... ).
The page I'm now taken to when pressing the contribute button now gives me this message:

"That action could not be completed. Please try again, and if this occurs again please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message. "

I've ensured that my usergroup has full permissions to use the button in Usergroups Manager. I've also set permissions for Unregistered Users to press the button for testing purposes if you wish to see the message.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

I've given you the details please help me out I really need this :) Or otherwise if you can guarantee that the PRO version works I will just buy a copy! :D

Thanks!

Update: I'm still looking into this, but I want to let you know that your skin is seven different shades of broken. For one, the copyright footer has been modified in some way to take up the whole screen (making every element on the page unclickable). For two, the drop-down menus are not working at all, giving multiple 404 errors in large rectangular squares all over the screen.

I'm creating a default skin for me to use while debugging this issue, as your site is completely unusable with the current skin.

I'm using Safari 8.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.10.

Update 2: Your Master Style has been corrupted, as creating a new style takes on the elements of your broken skin. Please contact vBulletin support for assistance with rebuilding the master style, and let me know once a default vB5 skin is available so that I can look into this further.

Thank you :)

I know that some things are a little broken as the site is under development ( I'm not the developer :p ) but on windows it is very useable.
I believe that much of the problem is just VB5 itself. I can't understand how it can be so unfinished after how long its been out for.

Thanks for checking in on progress. I appreciate it :)

EDIT: Just realised the post on this page. Thanks.

I have an update for you :)

Ater having the site's developer disable the CSS for our custom navigation bar, I uninstalled it and reinstalled the contribute mod.

And now it works like a charm! Thankyou for looking into this for me I very much appreciate it.

EDIT: The only thing that doesn't work is the donation bar ... no matter what you set the donation target to it always says the target is 0.
