Torrent Tracker

Since torrent's have almost replaced the need for http downloading, i suggest a mod be made for a vbulletin torrent tracker. There was one made but it only works for the 3.x series and nothing for the 4.x series. Having a torrent tracker is completely legal, though even though it is, because of the kind's of content people use it for, it can be shady to some people's eyes.

That is where you can get the vbulletin torrent tracker for vb3, but i suggest instead of embedding into posts, instead have it's own page and people can use credits to buy them.

I kind of fear this suggestion will be ignored because well it's torrent, regardless of all the legal applications torrents have given us, it also has some very shady background to it. It is just a suggestion though, and something i would definitely buy if it ever was developed.

I highly doubt this would ever be produced!

Yeah i know, but thought it shouldn't hurt to ask atleast.

It's not something we have any plans for at the moment to be honest, mostly because even the association of piracy can be harmful to companies - whether the intention is legal or not.

Yeah, i can understand, it's quite a bummer too because torrents can be useful if it wasn't so abused as it has.
