I doubt we'd do something like this since it's already possible to set up an existing mod to do this (Forum live feed & user wall) and making a new mod with MUCH less functionality doesn't seem like a great idea.

The product you've mentioned does not do anything like this IPB I showed.
Forum live feed & user wall looks like the Status Update of Invision Power Board.

You can configure it to work as a widget displaying latest threads - it just has many more options on top of that.
