    Default Facebook Chat Mod?

    Hello,
I was wondering if this could be a future modification for DB. I saw arrowchat have their own facebook chat modification for their site, but what turns me off is the limited update, I tend to go lifetime with DB and I think this mod would be handy on any forum for quick chatting. Just an idea. Also had no idea where to put this so posting this in an answers form

As far as I can tell, this is no longer possible as of April 2015. The API for interfacing with Facebook Chat via PHP has been shut down.

When I say "Hotfix Released" it means you should re-download the product and re-upload the files.

I don't think he means using the facebook API method which is built into vbulletin 4.2.3 (like, share etc).

He means creating a completely new plugin, which allows you to create a facebook type of chat.
This is indeed possible on vbulletin v4.
vBulletin Chat, jQuery Chat, Facebook Chat - ArrowChat

I've tried the trial version of arrowchat and it works fine on vBulletin 4.2.3, but ArrowChat is missing a few features which facebook has.
ArrowChat for the past 2 years or so, really hasn't done any major improvement or replied in their own forum regarding suggestions, they seem content with their plugin.

Creating a plugin which can do everything FB chat can do + everything arrow chat can do + features from cometchat + more usergroup+user & per forum basis settings would be awesome.

Yeah, that's what I thought could be good to see in the dragonbyte's product catalog. Quicker way to message users. Keep me posted on what happens regarding the plugin
