[vBAvatar] Custom avatars / User Image Upload

Here is what I am looking to do:
Custom avatars would be T-Shirts and I would like to allow users to upload an image onto the shirt.
Images re-sized to fit shirt / avatar.

Is this currently an option?

i think this is possible with the new style signature type thing, but it means giving all your users access to upload avatar parts etc so people coiuld abuse it, i'm not sure the images get re-sized automatically to fit said shirts. what i'm assuming you want to do is have a base shirt (say plain white shirt) and you want people to be able to upload a pic that gets re-sized onto that shirt to make their own shirts?

The only way i believe that is possible is for your members to have their own blank psd/png of the shirt you use and to make their own they can send to you to upload and give to that user. Long winded i know but it is technically possible. just not easy.

There's currently no option to do that in the current Beta, and I doubt it's going to be possible either, at least the image resize bit.

Currently, you can assign a specific user as an Artist, who can then upload images and require moderation for the uploads. There's also a bunch of other features, you can see the release thread for those.

We don't currently have any plans to allow users to upload their own tattoos/designs for their own items only.

I guess this would be the key element I was looking for as an option.

If you want to know how the mod runs using a multitude of layers or see it in practice with multiple bodies etc then i recomend you take a trip over to my site to have a little nose at an example of what i've done with the mod (obviously other people will have done something different) the links in the Sig, i only say this because i frikkin' love this mod and i feel my site shows a little better how its used rather than here on DB-Tech since it only has the basic layers.
