Question Question about ecommerce addon

Hi,

I would like to sell systems on my forum. Can I simply sell them as pages that members who purchased can access? Or is the only way to offer it through downloads? I hope through page access since otherwise people can simply forward the downloads to other people who didn't pay.

When you sell a digital download, it can come with a permanent or temporary user group change, so you could potentially use that to sell access to hidden nodes on your site.

It wouldn't be super intuitive since it would still require you to offer something downloadable, though that could be a simple text file that instructs users on how to access the service.
