I was attempting to add PSN ID's to every users ID when in the forums, i was under the impression this could do that with a custom field from the user profile, i can't seem to figure out how

You will need to add a new View using the same template code you would use to manually add it to the postbit template

unfortunately that's above me, which i thought was the point of the $30 for this plugin

No, the point is for you to be able to make the same kind of edits you'd normally make to the Postbit template to this mod's "View" functionality instead, and thus giving you the power to re-arrange your postbit items.

Could you give me the profile field ID for the PSN ID custom profile field you added?
