Bug Doesn't work at all.

Hello,

Just installed this (purchased the pro version since I thought the issue was the lite version) and it doesn't seem to be working at all still

I have the options to hide the vBulletin ratings and they are still showing both the stars and the option to rate. Also I imported the old ratings and it doesn't seem like that worked at all since the top 100 is blank. When clicking to rate a thread nothing happens all the star disappear.

Wasn't sure if Cloudflare was an issue so I disabled Auto Minify and Rocket Loader and flushed the cache with the same results.

I have read maybe the JavaScript isn't being loaded in the template but I could find the actual code to add myself to try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

This has now been resolved. The "Disable vB Thread Ratings" setting needed to be turned off and back on again (I swear I'm not just making a stereotype here ) and I had to add a Question to the system and associate it with the rating instance in order for the rating to be saved.

Actually another question just came up. Having an issue choosing NONE in the forum manager. Some forums they would rather not have ratings in. The page just reloads.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I'm not the original developer so I'm not rightly sure what you mean, can you clarify please?

Sure thing. If you go to this page trating.php?do=forum in the admincp and choose NONE to not allow thread ratings in that forum nothing happens when you save the page. It just reloads.

Ah, that might happen if you have too many forums and the max_input_vars setting in php.ini is set to 1000 (default). Can you please check that setting and if it is set to default, increase it to 100000 or higher and then restart Apache?

Last questions I hope. Is there any code change or anything I can do to prevent ratings on threads with certain prefixes?
