Thanks. However. I just solved the problem by changing the permissions for some of the program files. Not sure why some were 0755, but I changed them to 0644. This problem might be unique to Litespeed webserver, which is more picky about permissions.
I just tried re-downloading and re-uploading the current version. Same thing. I checked to make sure the current files were really being uploaded. I even tried uploading and installing previous versions, without effect.
When I click on the CDN integration section in the Admin menu., I get this error message, "dbtech_vboptimise_invalid_action." I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling vB Optimise, with no effect. Other configuration sections are accessible like normal.
I've used vB Optimise for years, and I ran...
Got this from one of our mods this morning, after installing the vBMail beta last night. I've duplicated the issue, test banning a user from the AdminCP.
Not sure if it matters, but I also run vBOptimise (with MaxCDN) and DBSEO, along with about 30 other plugins, with all-https and a frontend...
Downloaded and upgraded last night. Thanks again.
Before I commit to unsubscribing inactive members, I must decide how far back I want to go as far as an account's "last activity." With the current software, that will be irreversible, as I can't send any future mailings to unsubscribed members...
I will look forward to version 2.
Not sure when you will have that ready to release, but I need to send another mailing this week, filtering out accounts in my inactive usergroup. Do you have a mysql query I can use now? My knowledge of mysql, like PHP, is monkey-see-monkey-do.
Also, I may...
Not sure I follow you. But I want to use whatever method works and is the easiest to implement.
Initially, I want a maillist consisting of only "active" usergroups, meaning all members who've logged in within the past two years, but excluding those who have unsubscribed from the current...
Just those who have unsubscribed. I might want to divide up the inactive group in the future and add the more recent members back into default subscribers.
Having thought about this a day, I still think turning off admin email for everybody who has unsubscribed might be best for my situation. It would provide more more flexibility for future mailings, in adjusting who is subscribed by default. I want to go back as far as possible with "last...
I have one large maillist comprised of all members in goodstanding usergroups, minus those who have unsubscribed or or been unsubscribed because of bounced mail. There are 150k subscribers and 65k unscubscribed.
I now need to create a new maillist, after moving old, inactive members into a...
I still haven't received these emails since 2012, even after unsubscribing and resubscribing last week.
As a test of email from here, I did just request a password reset, and I did receive that email, though SPF and DKIM did not authenticate.
I just noticed I haven't received the weekly emails since 11/09/12. I just checked and I'm still subscribed with the correct email address.
I use vBMail occasionally for mass mailing, and I hear from a lot of users who don't get the mail, even in their spam folders.
I figure a lot of mail...
I use Google Analytics' anonymize IP parameter.
ga('set', 'anonymizeIp', true);
Google says that causes GA to anonymize the last octet of IPV4 and the last 80 bits of IPV6 addresses before recording them.

vBSEO supported that in its...
OK...I tried a third time, enabling vBO. Same thing. Board slowed to a really slow crawl, and those couple hundred SYN_SENT requests immediately came back, something presumably using my server to attempt syn flooding of that site in the Netherlands. Shut it back down, taking me several minutes...
I've never had a mod break the server, as far as I can remember. I presume you have all the original files restored after the VBSEO exploit you mentioned in an earlier thread. I downloaded vBO after that, and those bogus index.php files you mentioned weren't included.
I also run VBSEO. Kinda'...
Yeah, I did some Googling too this afternoon. I've run my own Linux servers for eleven years, and I've never seen anything like that in netstat. I was afraid I'd been hacked. But it went away both times I disabled vBO. Might be something on my end, but it's definitely interacting with vBO...
For filecache, yes. I initially used Xcache.
I thought turning off in the cp would be the same, too. But I've been through this twice. As soon as I re-enable in products, any page takes minutes to load, even when VBo is turned off in the cp. And those SYN_SENT requests seem really weird..
Purchased branding free version last night and installed today, using Xcache. Httpd then slowed to barely a crawl, even though server loads were normal. The problem continued even after I turned vBO off through the cp. I thought something unrelated, like DoS, was going on.
I finally disabled...
