This is more of a general question. But, how does say upgrading to vB3 -> vB4 work in terms of your mods? In other words how would I upgrade your mods to use the vB4 type? Is there any upgrade script or would I simple download the vB4 version and overwrite my vB3 plugin with it? Just wanting...

How about buying an item called signature to use it. What I mean is in order to USE a signature. You have to buy it in the store with points. AND, then only can you use a signature. I know vBPlaza has this feature still.

As long as one is planned.. I think that's good enough to just know. I'm sure features will get better after v1 :)

Really? I personally think the vb3.8 market is high. I haven't ported any of my forums yet, and I don't plan to either. But I get where you are coming from in terms of investment. BTW, what if someone else where to "port" the vB4 version to a vB3 version?

Not really. Most people will either move to XF, IPB or another platform. A small portion that have no idea how forum software works or anything about optimization or programming will move on to vB4.

I'm a bit shocked that you have a larger vB4 base than a vB3 base. that's not really good news....
