Is there any way to exclude certain usergroups from receiving emails? I don't want to send emails to the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" usergroup.

Untick the "Can Subscribe" box for that usergroup, and make sure they are not set up to be automatically subscribed either :)

In that case, those users won't receive the emails, unless users revert to those usergroups later down the line.

Fillip H.,

In that case, it's not working. I know it's not working because I've had to shift members into that usergroup that have either expired or invalid email addresses. When I send out an email with vbmail, I get the bounce back messages - therefore I can see that emails are still being sent to all usergroups, regardless of the settings in the Admin panel.

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my previous post: If you manually change the usergroup of a member, it does not change their vBMail subscription status.

If you create a new user and set them to belong to a usergroup that is not automatically subscribed, they will not be subscribed.
If you create a new user and set them to belong to a usergroup that is automatically subscribed, and then later change them to one that is not, they will be subscribed.

This is working as intended, though we can look into creating a maintenance tool for unsubscribing such users :)
