1) Why this forum don't have a rss feed?

2) IMHO the price of "Branding Free" is too high...ok you need to mantain a credit link in the bottom of the forums using your mods, but if i have vbulletin/vbseo and other 3/4 scripts with credit link, i have a footer with 20 credits, i think it's exagerate! i see other paid scripts don't have a branding free option with this exagerate prices, the medium price is 20/30$...please riconsiderate that.

3) I like the ipb feature that permits to post a Status Update like facebook, why you don't create a mod for that? I think is very useful lol.

Heya, you got the reasoning correct - essentially we prefer people NOT to go branding free, as it means we get less attention/customers (which costs us money)

As far as the price goes - vBSEO branding free is approx $120, so i feel our fee's are about right judging by that =)

I know some people are always going to think our products/options/extras could/should be more or less expensive, but we put a price on them based on the functionality and features they give and in the case of branding free, the income potential.

Short answer: The pricing of branding free is in line with the vBSeo model (and as such with the premium modification end of the market, which is where we are situatated) and ideally no one would buy it anyway =P

Yes, but there are 2 question:

1) With vbseo (*one* very old product, fondamental) you can disable the link, and mantain only the text, the problem is if i have more external links in the footer of all my pages, i can have a penalization from google [expecially if i have a non-english language website)

2) If you don't want to decrease the price of the branding free consider the option of a "branding free bundle" or a promotion for customers if buying more products for your website.

1) IIRC, thats only the case after an obtuse number of links (like 8+), Also, i do believe the only product that adds a global footer is vBOptimise. vBShout should only place a footer on vBShout pages, and so on with our other products. Also, many people would argue that site optimisation is just as fundamental, if not more so, than improving search engine results =P

2)Again, the issue isn't so much that i don't want to reduce the price, it's that i want to discourage people from going branding free =P I'll certainly consider a bundle option though to see if it tempts any people who require branding free =)
