Default vBulletin 5 Connect Products Launched!

    Hey all,

We're happy to announce the official launch of our vB5 Mods. The initial launch line-up is as follows:

    AJAX Threads
    Advanced Post Thanks / Likes
    Advanced User Tagging
    Infopanels
    vBDonate
    vBMail
    vBShout

All accompanied by Lite versions of course. If you are reading this from the future (do you have hoverboards yet?) you can see the full, current list of vB5 products by going to our homepage here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/store/ and clicking the "vBulletin 5.x" tab.

The vB5 versions represent a significant change from the vB4 versions, with almost no code being re-usable across versions. For this reason, there's a small upgrade fee attached to upgrading your vB4 licence to vB5.
If you wish to replace your vB4 licence with a vB5 licence, the cost is approx. 25% of a new licence.
If you wish to keep your vB4 licence, but also have a vB5 licence, the cost is approx. 50% of a new licence.

For instance, if you have a 3 month licence of vBShout, the cost of a new licence (vB4 or vB5) is $44.95, the price to replace your existing licence with a fresh vB5 licence is $12.50 and the price to upgrade your existing licence to a Dual Licence is $22.50.

Each product has a "vB4/vB5 Differences" note, which explains what is missing (if anything), whether the product can be upgraded from vB4 and what is unique to the vB5 version. Please read it carefully before purchasing.

Thank you for your continued support

When I say "Hotfix Released" it means you should re-download the product and re-upload the files.

@Belazor , I want to upgrade my existing (expired vb4 Post Thanks license) now. What will be the cheapest option for me then? Sorry, I don't get it. A normal vb4 upgrade license is like $54 for a years license right? So upgrading to a dual license will give me an updated product for vb4 + a license for vb5?

If you go to your Client Area there should be a Renew / Upgrade Licence link.

Flat out replacing your licence with a vB5 licence is cheapest (25% of the cost of a new licence) but not really advised unless you're actually upgrading to vB5. Dual licences are 50% of the cost of a new licence.
