This one might be a bit tricky. Clicking a notification will first send an AJAX request to dismiss said notification. I'll see if I can re-work this method.

Ok, I found something interesting. If I stay on the forum home page, once the counter hits 0 for the "Top 5 Stats", the notifications appear, but with an error:

Doesn't work on my iPhone , I will never know if I get thanked, quoted or even messaged!
