Just noticed that there's a problem when I try to edit posts. I don't think that is related only with me, but just in case, I'm using Opera, latest version, if it is Opera related.

Symptoms are that when I click to edit my post, I don't see any text to edit. I need to reload page and after that solves problem. Also, this is not something that happens all the time, as far as I can tell. I first noticed this when testing User Thread mod and I mentioned it here:

Then I thought it's something mod related, but now I'm not so sure, I think that this is something site related, as I spotted it in this forum, when I tried to edit my last answer on thread about me not receiving your emails.

Just to let you know, maybe you also notice this and find a way to solve it.

We're taking a look into this. Will get back to you with more information later.

Alan_SP, I've had a look this morning, and tried to recreate this but can't so far. Can you tell me the steps that you take when you encounter it? Does it happen when you've posted? Is it after a post by using quick reply? How long after you've posted do you find you have the problem, immediately? Or after a few minutes of inactivity (i.e. you've not reloaded the page or moved to another area of the site). Do you get this only when you use Opera? Have you had it on any other browser?

I've been thinking about this, and I'm wondering it you get it only when you post a second post quite quickly, and they merge the threads. When I post this message, which will update the last I made (to prevent double posting) it will create an Edit Post option that when I click, nothing happens, because the post doesn't exist, but has been merged. Is that what you are finding, or something completely different?

Ok, what I can tell is:

- I'm using only Opera.
- I notice this rarely, but noticed this so far twice for sure, first time when testing User threads and second time when replying here (in this forum).
- I tried to edit someone else's post first time, but I could do that because I was testing mod that enables me to moderate threads. Second time I was trying to edit my post very shortly after I posted it and it was my first post that time.
- I couldn't repeat it for sure and after I reload page, I don't have problems with edit anymore, at least didn't had any.

If I find anything more, I'll inform you. Also I'll try to took pictures of what I see.

EDIT: For example, I just posted this post and immediately after I tried to edit it and everything is ok. This is rare, occasional thing as far as I can say.

EDIT2: I tried editing for some time, it worked without problems. It seems it's more likely to happen only first time when I post something here and if it doesn't happen first time, it doesn't happen at all.
