I already mentioned that I didn't received emails from you. First I didn't have setting to receive email from admins (I didn't this myself). Then, next week I spotted that I was unsubscribed from mailing list in vBMail. And now, third week in a row I didn't receive email, but I checked and I have enabled to receive emails from admins, as well as I'm subscribed (as far as I can tell) to mailing list.

I checked and there was new email sent today. I control my spam filters, so it wasn't delivered in spam.

Anyway, I want to inform you, for some reason I stopped receiving your emails three weeks ago without me doing anything. I know that I could come here and check what's new, so this is more to inform you about this situation. And yes, I'd like to receive emails from you.

Email is correct (and I still receive all other emails on it), also I didn't changed it and it worked. Changes that were I corrected: Change that I don't want to receive emails from admins (didn't change this) and change that I'm unsubscribed from mailing list (also didn't changed this).

From spam filters I'm using POPFile - Automatic Email Classification - Trac I see all emails, but they get subject change ([spam] is added at beggining) and my email client filter them according to it and send them in spam folder. So I could easily see all my emails and check if some is filtered by mistake.

The issue is our IP was being blocked by yet another blocklist :(

I'm contacting them for removal now.

There's no issues to sending email to GMail at this time, as I use GMail as well. You might want to check it didn't land in our spam folder, or check that you don't have any custom filters enabled that may have caught our email.

Sorry to hear this. :(

I hope you'll manage to get it corrected, I'm always glad when I receive emails from. Not that I will stop coming to your site if I don't. :)

Just to report here, I received email for filling out survey.

Strange thing is, this is a first email from you for a very long time. I don't receive mails about new blogs (now I go online to see if there's a new blog from you), I think this is handled with vBMail. I think that I also started thread there, but just to let you know, I received survey email, this worked. How (if still) you send other mails? Anyway, I don't receive them, but I received this email.

This info maybe help you find out what's wrong with other way (vBMail, or whatever you use) of sending emails.

I'll look into your mailing list subscription settings / details over the course of today to see if I can find any problems :)

Sorry to report, I still don't receive mails from you if they should be sent with vBmail. :(

I checked, I'm subscribed to both mailing list, but I don't receive mails, I'm sure that I should receive email about new blog, but nothing came. My email address works, I'm sure about it. And I received email before, but I think you used email feature from ACP, not vBmail.

You had opted out of receiving Admin emails - I have re-ticked this box on your General Settings. You should now receive the emails correctly :)

Sorry, I really don't remember when I did this. I'm actually sure I checked this box, that I receive admin emails. :(

This looks like twilight zone story. :)

OK, I checked again, I have selected to receive mail from admin, I have subscribed to both mailing lists.

But, I still don't receive any emails sent with vBMail. Yesterday was new blog, I should (I guess) receive email with info about that.

It looks like for some reason that I can't receive mails from you and that's it. And yes, I am sure that I didn't receive email from you, it didn't went into spam box or trash or something like that. I know that for sure, because I received one mail from you, but it wasn't sent with vBMail.

EDIT: It looks like in the past, your email has bounced - you were flagged for no further mailings.

You would have gotten a PM about this, and if this happens again you'll need to change your email address :)

No problem, I now know that I need to come here to see what's new, I just wanted to inform you that for some reason I don't receive emails sent with vBMail. Interesting is, it works fine with ACP sent emails.

For me it looks like some kind of bug with vBMail, don't know how it could be solved and if it is really bug in code, or in the design of code.

Hard to say exactly why the email had bounced at one point or another, but hopefully it won't happen again.

It's not a bug at all, it's working 100% as designed :)

ACP mails don't adhere to vBMail's "bounced flag", so it's not surprising ACP sent mails go through.

Well, but I should receive emails, even if it bounced once (don't know why and how, this is a first info about that mail address not working because it works fine all the time). You said you changed that bounce flag. I think that admins should have option to control it, if they can't now.

No, we intentionally set it up so that you should not receive emails if it bounced once. We need to limit our bounced mail quantity as much as possible to avoid ending up on blacklists.

Admins can change the bounce flag, via the User Manager. That's how it was discovered in the first place :)
